On short-haul flights with buy-on-board service, you can pre-order fresh, high-quality products from the Onboard Delights menu online in Economy Class and purchase them on board.
In Business Class on short-haul flights with a flight time of more than 2 hours and departure after 10 a.m., you can pre-order your hot main course in Business Class.
In Business Class on long-haul flights from Germany, you can choose your free hot main course in the first meal service online as part of Pre-Select.
In Economy Class on short-haul flights, fresh products from dean&david and Dallmayr can be pre-ordered from the Onboard Delights menu. Drinks and snacks (e.g. muesli bars) can be purchased directly on board. In Business Class on short and long-haul flights, you can select your hot main course in advance.

To view your flights, please enter your first name, surname, booking code or ticket number. You can then select from the available products for the flights on which this option is available.
On short-haul flights, you can pre-order up to five products in Economy Class. In Business Class on short-haul flights you can choose your hot meal, for long-haul flights you can choose your hot main course for the first meal service on board.
In Economy class, you can pre-order up to five products to share with your travel companions until the overall order limitations for a flight have been reached. In Business Class on short and long-haul flights, the main course must be selected individually for all passengers.
You will receive a confirmation by email.
You will receive your products during the regular service on board your flight.
You can purchase additional products on board, such as drinks, together with your pre-ordered products in order to benefit from the offers on the menu. The associated discounts are automatically deducted at the time of payment.
Payment is processed during the in-flight service on board. Contactless payment is only possible with Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro and Apple as well as Google Pay. We do not accept cash.
The selected hot main course is included in the ticket fare and no additional costs apply.
Special Meals are not available in Economy Class on continental flights, so they also cannot be pre-ordered. However, the buy-on-board Onboard Delights menu offers you an extensive selection of products, including, for example, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and more.
In Business Class, Special Meals must be ordered directly when booking the flight ticket. At a later point in time, you can only order Special Meals via the customer service of your Lufthansa Group airline. If you have ordered a Special Meal, you will always receive this instead of the selection you made on this website.

There are some reasons why you can’t pre-order products for a flight. The most common ones are:

  • Your flight is not operated by Lufthansa oder Lufthansa Cityline.

  • For flights to or from certain destinations such as Tel Aviv, orders are not possible.

  • You have not adhered to the prescribed period for advance bookings. You can find the period for your flight under “What is the time frame to pre-order products for my flight?”

  • The maximum load quantity has already been reached on a flight, so no additional products can be ordered.

Yes, you can still purchase many products on board, depending on their availability. However, we recommend that you select your preferred meal in advance to ensure that your desired product is on board.
In case of rebooking we cannot guarantee that you will still receive your initially pre-ordered products. However, you can still purchase buy-on-board products in Economy Class on continental flights depending on availability. You can cancel your old selection and make a new advance booking for your rebooked Lufthansa Economy Europe flight up to 18 hours before departure for flights from Germany and 24 hours before departure for flights to Germany. For Business Class on intercontinental flights, you also have up to 24 hours before departure to adjust your pre-order.
